Return on investment
The return on investment depends on several factors. If you are considering buying a brewery, we will be happy to discuss these with you and explain how you can use them to your benefit and what to watch out for. In cooperation with sales and marketing experts, we often provide our clients with a “feasibility study” that they can also attach to their loan application.
If you currently own a brewery and are unable to meet your financial expectations, we will help you determine the cause and suggest corrective measures.
Factors influencing return on investment:
- Initial investment (equipment size, layout quality)
- Operational costs (electricity, water and sewage, gas)
- Labor costs (brewmaster, contractors, staff)
- Retail price of the beers
- Volume of sold beer, total restaurant sales
- Sales and promotion costs (draft equipment, signs, glasses)
- Number of beer types (each types' proportion of total sales, packaging)
- Distribution channels (selling only at the brewery / supplying beer to remote locations)
