What you need to start a minibrewery

  • Ideally, you should have your own restaurant or premises for a restaurant.
  • The technology requires at least 100 square meters (a larger space provides for an easier operation and the potential for future expansion).
  • A good source of water: in most cases, tap water is sufficient. However, an analysis of the water is always needed.

  • A sufficient supply of gas and electricity.
  • If you cooperate with us, we will provide a study including the required capacity of the resources, the technology layout and construction requirements so that your designer can prepare the project for approval by the relevant authorities.
  • The usual time frame for the construction of the brewery is as follows: allow appr. 3-4 months for manufacturing the equipment; 1 month for transportation, on-site installation and testing; 1-2 months for the production of the “first beer”. Therefore, it takes appr. 6 months from the first advance payment to the first glass of beer. While the equipment is being manufactured during the first three months, you have to ensure that the premises are ready, including all approval procedures. It is not a difficult process and we have done it many times. It is, however, time-consuming.
